It’s September 1st here in Philadelphia. I hear tell it’s also September 1st in other places of the world but I don’t believe it. Humbug I tell ya. Actually it’s a Pen EP-5 day with the 25mm 1.8 lens that thinks it’s a 50mm. So I worked Independence Historic Park for a while and I gotta say, it’s empty. I mean the other day it’s packed and then someone turned the Visitor Flowing Device down and today not even 50 people. I’m kinda sad to see the place like this. I guess it’s a sure shot of the forthcoming winter season.
I think most people kinda slow down and stay warm in the winter. Well, I like to step up the pace in the Fall and Winter. I mean I like to get out there and work. Of course it’s easy to say that as it’s in the low 90’s today and the rest of the week.
I am considering taking 2 cameras out to work but that means a camera bag of some sorts. Yuch, I hate being bogged down with bags.

I think the gentleman in the shot may be thinking ahead to Fall and Winter. Fall – my favorite season! Well, the wife comes back from Japan in a week after being gone for 10 weeks. That means I have some serious cleaning to do around here. Take care out there Don!
Well Dave, there are cleaning services that do a top job. Anyway, glad she’s coming home soon, as we get older, it’s nice to have someone around. My wife tells me that all the time….
Fall is my favorite season also. October is my birth month so I adapt to that season well. The thing is, I love wearing jeans and a jacket. Jackets elimante camera bags for the most part…..

I like to get out in the winter more, too. The only problem is that my hands and feet freeze even though I use those packets you slip in your gloves and shoes to keep warm. :0
Tina Luckily here on the east coast of USA, we get a change of seasons. I always felt that it provided me a chanse to respond to the same things differently and I usually felt refreshed.
For some reason and crazy as it may seem I look forward to the cold snowy weather. No problem when it’s 90+F out … OMG I’m friggin’ losing it…lol

I definitely look forward to the cold, snowy weather. I guess it’s leftover feelings from when I was a kid and loved to play in the snow. You can also get some great shots if you’re patient. (Having a nice, hot cup of coffee to sip to chase away the cold helps as well!)
Yes Tina, apparently you have experienced winter also, that’s good to know and it warms my heart, not as much as your coffee but it does something I tell ya.
